CAPETOWN MARCH (ON 07-02-2008) AGAINST SA POLICE BRUTALITY AND XENOPHOBIA

Foundation of Reason & Justice call upon you to join or support a peaceful march against SA police brutality and xenophobia towards refugees and asylum seekers.

The march is on 7 February 2008, starting at ST George Cathedral, in Capetown at 12:30pm.

The march is organised by People Against Suffering, Suppression, Oppression and Poverty (PASSOP). Foundation of Reason & Justice support this march.

South Africa claim to be a human rights society but tens of thousands of refugees are being denied the right to have asylum permits. The Capetown Home Affairs, Refugee Reception is characterised by xenophobia and massive corruption. Nothing has been done to improve the deplorable situation of refugees and asylum seekers.

Many members of South African Police, Home Affairs officials are corrupt and demands bribes from poor asylum seekers. Instead of working as professionals many police officers are behaving as if there are 'demon possessed.' Zimbabwean asylum seekers are being harassed and arrested without being given an opportunity to apply for asylum. Asylum seekers spend many weeks or months in filth police cells with criminals, while waiting for deportation. Many lives are being endangered and exposed to serious human degradation.

South African police Services inhumane behavior is based on xenophobia, hatred of foreigners especially Zimbabweans.
Refugees in police cells must be released with immediate effect and be given opportunity to get permits.

For further information about state atrocities in Zimbabwe and mistreatment of refugees in South Africa go to our blogspot: http://zimjustice.blogspot.com or website http://forjustice.atspace.org.

Subject: Fw: Important - Protest March Thurs 7th Feb 2008
Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2008 23:51:12 -0800 (PST)
Hey everyone,

There will be a protest tomorrow starting at 12.30 tomorrow at St Georges Cathedral in Cape Town, organised by PASSOP and the TAC. We will be protesting against xenophobia and police brutality towards asylum seekers, as well as general maltreatment and discrimination against refugees. You may have read about the midnight raid at a JHB Methodist church, but this sort of victimisation is not limited to Jozi - refugees in Cape Town are also regularly assaulted, pepper sprayed, arrested without charges, solicited for bribes, and denied access to asylum papers and basic human needs, such as food, shelter and water. Many people judge asylum-seekers as illegal immigrants and criminals - this is an unfair generalisation. The vast majority are good people, fleeing violence and poverty in their own countries. Deportation is a death sentence. There are refugees from almost every country in Africa. International students, come and march for your countrymen. South Africans, please come and march against the new Apartheid.

XENOPHOBIA = RACISM

For more information on on this march or on refugee issues please contact me on xxxxxxxxx .
Buses will be available from Tugwell shuttle stop, leaving at 11.30

Call for practical Support & Prayers; a Zimbabwean Refugee Died of Hunger in Central Cape Town, South Africa

(This incident happened in November 2008 in Capetown)

One day l went to Cape Town Home Affairs in Foreshore; they were many Zimbabwean Refugees and Asylum Seekers sleeping outside the Home Affairs waiting for permits. I saw that one young man had no shoes. When I asked, he told me, that his shoes were stolen. This man had just fled from the State atrocities and starvation in Zimbabwe. I promised to get him some shoes but l needed time to do that.

Some few days later l heard that a Zimbabwean refugee had died of hunger. When l enquired l was told that he is that man who was without shoes. I was grief –stricken. This is one of the testimonies of the hardships that refugees in Cape Town and rest of South Africa face. Read The Whole story from the Newspaper by clicking http://zimjustice.blogspot.com/2008/02/did-he-die-of-hunger-on-cape-town.html

The Cape Town Home Affairs refugee office is hit by massive corruption and go slow tactics of xenophobic officials. Refugees are not getting permits. The ANC government of President Thabo Mbeki has failed to cushion the poor and other weak members such as refugees especially those from Zimbabwe. This is due to deliberate calculations of the ANC government as it supports Mugabe’s murderous policies in Zimbabwe.

Refugees are starving, some sick and dying, it appear as if no one cares. It’s common to see refugees putting on dirty, tattered clothes or eating food that has been thrown into bins. Please remember these impoverished immigrant communities in South Africa, the situation is out of control.

"[The wicked] do not plead the cause, the cause of the orphan, that they may prosper; and they do not defend the rights of the poor. Shall I not punish these people?" declares the LORD. "On such a nation as this, shall I not avenge myself?" Jeremiah 5:28.

But whoever has the world's goods, and beholds his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? 1 John 3:17.

Did he die of hunger on a Cape Town street?

3 November 2007, 10:11

By Clayton Barnes

Adonis Musati, a Zimbabwean asylum seeker and a familiar face to many at Cape Town's Home Affairs office, died on a pavement just metres from the Foreshore office on Friday.

Musati, 24, is believed to have died of hunger.

Bennett Hodi, the last to see Musati alive, said he came zigzagging across the road towards the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Friday morning and asked a construction worker for money to buy a loaf of bread.

Hodi, a guard at a nearby construction site, said although none of the workers had money, a colleague decided to buy the bread as they could see Musati was hungry and weak.

"He told us he hadn't eaten in two weeks," said Hodi. "We gave him the bread and he finished half a loaf in seconds.

"He then asked for water and swallowed a few sips before lying down under a tree on the island opposite the Convention Centre.

"A few minutes later we noticed he was lying on his back with his legs and arms stretched out. That's when we rushed over and saw he wasn't breathing. We immediately called the police."

Braam Hanekom, chairperson of People Against Suffering, Suppression, Oppression and Poverty (Passop), was greeted by a crowd of people standing around Musati's body after being released from the holding cells at Cape Town Central police station on Friday afternoon.

Hanekom and a member of his refugee advocacy group were arrested on Thursday night after a peaceful sit-in by desperate asylum seekers turned violent when they clashed with police.

The refugees refused to leave the department's premises after waiting more than seven hours to be served.

Hanekom said Musati's death had left the refugees heartbroken and angry.

"These guys have a strong bond, they are like a family," said Hanekom. "These refugees have nowhere to go, nothing to eat and nowhere to live.

"They depend on begging in the streets bordering the Home Affairs office to stay alive.

"This is unfortunate and if nothing is done, we are definitely going to see more refugees dying on the streets of this country."

Patrick Chauke, chairperson of Parliament's Home Affairs Portfolio Committee, was on the scene and said Musati's death was a tragedy.

"This is not good, but we are trying our best to process the paperwork for all refugees as effectively and efficiently as possible," said Chauke. "Our condolences go out to the family.

"The next step now is to get in contact with the Zimbabwean authorities and their embassy. We'll do our best to see that the deceased gets a proper burial. If his family is located in time we might be able to transport his body back."

Musati's friend, Steve Mabambe, said he was saddened by Musati's death and feared living on the streets of Cape Town.

"I came here for a better life, but it looks like we will all die if we don't get asylum and jobs soon," said Mabambe.

Senior Superintendent Billy Jones said an inquest docket was opened.

APPEAL TO THE WESTERN CHURCH TO HELP THE CHURCH IN ZIMBABWE

We appeal to the Western Church to support Christ’s struggle for freedom and justice. Zimbabwe has an estimated population of 13 million people. More than 70% of Zimbabweans are Christians who believe in the Lordship and sovereignty of Jesus Christ.

Zimbabweans Christians face severe persecutions from the communist, ZANU PF government under the leadership of President Robert Mugabe, since 1980. Mugabe’s government has a track record of murdering and starving innocent people who do not support its wicked policies. In 1983 more than 30 000 Ndebele speaking people were massacred by North Korean trained fifth Brigade.

Since 2000 many white farmers have been arrested, tortured and murdered. Tens of thousands of black Zimbabweans have been tortured, beaten, starved and murdered for not supporting ZANU PF government.

Churches have been bulldozed during many government ‘Operations’. Pastors and other Church leaders have been intimidated, harassed, arrested and some beaten for not supporting the government. Millions of Zimbabwean Christians are being starved into submission. Missionary work has been banned in Zimbabwe. Foreign missionaries have been arrested, harassed and some robbed by State agencies. Charity work is forbidden. Food import and relief aid is illegal in Zimbabwe. Heavy duties and quotas are charged on food that is getting into the country.

More than 5million Zimbabweans have fled the country. Those who are still in Zimbabwe are starving. Families have been broken and devastated. Independent newspapers have been bombed and banned. Journalists have been harassed, arrested, tortured and some murdered.

The international media is not so much interested in covering the Zimbabwean humanitarian crisis. Most part of the Church in Africa is not much concerned with truth and righteousness in Zimbabwe or that the oppressed Zimbabweans get freedom and justice. Even those who were champions against white governments in Africa are maintaining deafening silence when it comes to atrocities being committed by a black ZANU PF government of President Robert Mugabe. They love Mugabe more than their persecuted brothers and sisters. Therefore cannot speak out in their Churches or outside.

When God’s people suffer Christ suffer with them. Please may you support in both prayer and action the cause of God’s truth and justice in Zimbabwe.

“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body” Hebrews 13:3.

"…The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He appointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the favourable year of the LORD...” Luke 4:16-21.

PERSISTANT PERSECUTION OF THE CHURCH CONTINUE IN ZIMBABWE

The ZANU PF government continue to persecute the Church of God. ‘Eight Church leaders, including a blind pastor were arrested during a meeting in front of 400 worshippers and detained in police cells in Kadoma (120 km South West of Harare).'

The arrested Church leaders are Jonathan Gokovah, Pastor Raymond Motsi, Pius Wakatama, Pastor Ancelimo Magaya, Pastor Wilson Mugabe, Pastor Zvizai Chiponda, Lawrence Berejena and Gerald Mubaiwa.

Pastor Moyo states, “The meeting was for Christians who felt they cannot remain silent while the country burns with companies closing, inflation (26 000%) hitting everyone hard and the majority of people suffering.”The Pastors declared, “We are not aligned to any political party and we don’t mind who rules this country as long as they are accountable and respect the rights of all citizens. We are just against the prevailing situation characterised by looting and misgovernance.”

The ZANU PF government of President Robert Mugabe is dictatorship and has murdered tens of thousands of innocent Zimbabweans. Dictatorship is satanic. Refusing to resist dictatorship is resisting God. Christians have not only rights but obligation to remove tyranny.

When ZANU PF was murdering 40 000 Ndebele speaking people, the Zimbabwean Church was silent. When ZANU PF government was invading farms, and embezzling national wealth and abusing human rights the Church was saying that it has nothing to do with politics.

Poverty and massive starvation is God’s judgement to the ZIMBABWEAN Church for ignoring social injustice, helping the poor and political immorality.

l remember six years ago praying that God raise up Church leaders and Christians in Zimbabwe who will challenge wickedness of our political leaders. The State determines whether people live with peace and have a good economy that provide opportunities for many people. Praise God! Now Christian leaders are rising up against political immorality even when the country is completely on ground, with millions starving to death.

The trial for the above mentioned Church leaders has been remanded to 5 March 2008. The Church has been ravaged by criminal or satanic civil rulers. Please continue to pray for change to take place in Zimbabwe.

If you are not subscribed to us please send us your contact so that we can keep you update about the struggles of the Zimbabwean Church.

ZIMBABWEAN HUMAN RIGHTS LEADER SAYS

"ANC president Jacob Zuma is confused"

The ANC president Jacob Zuma is confused. What efforts of the US and Europe are preventing the solving of the Zimbabwean crisis? The solution to the Zimbabwean political and economic crisis is the removal of ZANU PF government of president Robert Mugabe. ZANU PF tyranny must go. Zuma sympathies seem to be with Mugabe.

"Nobody is doing more to help the situation in Zimbabwe than South Africa,"said Zuma. What is South Africa doing to help Zimbabwe? President Thabo Mbeki is supporting ZANU PF “government” under the facade of 'Quiet Diplomacy'. May Il remind Zuma that Zimbabwe does not need the reconciliation of opposition political parties with the ZANU PF government , but the removal of the bloodthirsty, ZANU PF dictatorship.

In 2002 Sam Mo Tsuenyane, the head of South Africa's observer mission legitimised presidential elections that were blatantly rigged by Mugabe. Mr. Zuma wants to deceive people, the South African government supports Mugabe's terrorism.

ZANU PF stays in power by lies, terrorism and rigging elections. If Zuma is supporting terrorism in Zimbabwe it is better he doesn’t become president of South Africa. South Africa is committing suicide by letting Zuma coming into power. We don't need more dictators in Africa. Africa has had enough of wicked rulers.

Zuma said, "I'm not sure I will do anything fundamentally different (to Zimbabwe)." Shame! What do you think you can do? You support your Marxist brother Mugabe.

ANC leaders are dictators and failures. It is my prayer that Zuma doesn’t come to power in South Africa. South Africa and Zimbabwe were pillars of Africa, now Zimbabwe is gone. Tens of thousands of Zimbabweans have been murdered by ZANU PF dictatorship. Millions of Zimbabweans have fled political persecutions and severe economic crisis in Zimbabwe - which is a result of the communist policies of the ruling government of Mugabe.

Words have an invisible power, Speak up against oppression in Zimbabwe and ANC madness.

Urgent Call for Action to help Zimbabwean Refugees in South Africa. Corruption and inefficiencies wrecks Cape Town Refugee Reception in Foreshore.

On Monday 15 October 2007, hundreds of Zimbabwean Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Cape Town have been joined by other Asylum Seekers from countries like Congo in a peaceful demonstration at Customs House, Foreshore. The demand was that they be granted asylum permits in time.

Tens of thousands of Zimbabwean refugees have been denied their constitutional right to apply for political asylum in South Africa. Among them are Widows, Orphans, and the Poor. They have nowhere to go. They have nowhere to appeal. Police harass and arrest them for not having permits. Employers don’t give them work. Majority of South Africans both black and White despise them. Even Churches don’t even care to speak up for them. South African Christians are not interested in their plight, they love Mugabe more than their oppressed brothers and sisters.

Is anyone immune from experiencing injustices in this unjust world? Why don’t you care for the oppressed? Some South African officials are thoroughly corrupt and don’t even care to give Zimbabweans asylum permits.

Most Zimbabwean refugees are required to pay bribes in order to get political asylum in South Africa. If you visit Customs House in Foreshore Cape town you will see that the place is congested with desperate immigrants. Go day after day you will see the same people waiting for permits. Home Affairs officials are alleged to be working with well known agencies who take bribes of between R600 and R1000 from asylum seekers.

Those few who get refugee status find it difficult to get IDs or Passports. Some have been waiting for IDs for more than six months.
Refugee group leader, Braam Hanekom said, "The majority of the refugees have been battling to get documents for more than 10 years and this is despite the fact that they are genuine asylum seekers escaping from persecution back home." (Cape Times 15/10/2007)

What is necessary for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing. Together we can make a difference write letters to South African Embassy near you to protest abuse of Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Or Write to: Jacky Mashapu (Acting Head of Communication) Email: Jacky.Mashapu@dha.gov.za;
Lebogang Maenetja Communicator E-mail: Lebogang.Maenetja@dha.gov.za

Take Action now. Time has run out refugees are suffering in South Africa.

Open Letter to the Minister of Home Affairs, Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula from Mr. Collen Makumbirofa of Foundation of Reason & Justice

Dear Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula

Greetings to you!

I have chosen this form of communication because
everyone is aware of the evils currently going on at
Cape Town, Home Affairs, Refugee Reception Centre.

I request that you urgently investigate cases of
corruption, bureaucracy, and inefficiencies at Cape
Town, Refugee Reception Centre.

Thousands of Zimbabwean Refugees are failing to get
Asylum Permits. Many are spending nights at Customs
House at Foreshore in order to join the queue as early
as 3am. We also observed that some people are spending
weeks waiting for permits in vain.

It is alleged that Security Guards are taking bribes to
allow some asylum seekers inside the office to get
permits. Officials are working with agents outside who
take bribes of between R600 and R1000 per person so
that the asylum seeker can get permit.

Minister if you have objection to this l will be very
glad to submit to you a list of Zimbabweans who have
been desperately waiting for weeks and months at
Customs House in Foreshore, but have failed to get
inside due to inefficiencies and such reasons as
mentioned above.

Moreover, Zimbabweans with refugee status are not
getting Identity Documents within three months of
application. It is alleged that many are waiting for
more than 6 months before getting Identity Documents.
Why is it taking long for Refugees who have been
granted Refugee Status to get IDs or Passports?

Minister South Africa claim to be a Human Rights
Society but is failing to respect basic rights of
Refugees and Asylum Seekers especially those from
Zimbabwe. Due to corruption and deliberate inefficiency
by certain officials over Refugees and Asylum Seekers
South African image is being destroyed abroad.

It’s tragic that human rights abuses are committed by
well- of officials to the helpless members of society
such as Refugees, Orphans, Widows and the Poor.
Minister, l request that you investigate allegations
of corruption and urgently help Asylum Seekers waiting
at Cape Town Refugee Reception (Foreshore) to get
permits.

Your urgent action to help helpless Zimbabwean Asylum
Seeker will be greatly appreciated and highly valued.

For the past four years we have been exposing gross
human rights abuses and State atrocities in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabweans can live in South Africa

The South African government must not discriminate immigrants from Zimbabwe or deport people. All people are entitled to dignity and justice. People should learn to integrate. Zimbabweans must not feel guilt about coming and settling in South Africa.

Zulus, Xhosa's came to South Africa in the same way or similar way as Zimbabweans, Zambians and other Africans coming to South Africa today. How dare call it wrong in the 21first century for black Zimbabweans to come and settle in South Africa. Zulu's and Xhosa's are not the original inhabitants of the South African land. Through t centuries people have been emigrating for different reasons fleeing economic disasters, and political oppression.

After all President Thabo Mbeki and ANC government support the State atrocities of Mugabe's ZANU PF. Mbeki and Mugabe are just the same. ANC and ZANU PF are just the same. They are all barbaric. If the ANC are not thugs why do they support crime against humanity which Mugabe is committing? The behavior of ANC government over Zimbabwe is just foolish if not criminal.

Zimbabweans in South Africa are offering good contribution to the economy. Some are business man offering jobs to many suffering South Africans. Many Zimbabweans are taking care of South African women they are married to. We need good integration, the human community is big and one. Xenophobia, discrimination and hatred of foreigners is wrong. During the time of apartheid we accommodated many South Africans in Zimbabwe including President Thabo Mbeki.

A Zimbabwean Pleads for Prayer and Action

Across the Globe from America to Africa people will be praying for the down fall of Mugabe's ZANU PF Dictatorship in Zimbabwe and Biblical repentance to take place among majority of Zimbabweans. Tyranny is a mark to show that a nation has rejected Jesus Christ in politics, economics, personal and social life.

Independent newspapers have been bombed and banned. Journalists have been harassed, tortured and killed. The Movement for Democratic offices have been bombed. Many opposition Members of Parliament have been arrested, tortured and some murdered.

More than 3 million Zimbabweans have fled starvation and severe persecutions. Majority of teachers, artisans, nurses and doctors have left Zimbabwe. It is estimated that three thousand people are dying every week; this is a result of direct or indirect ZANU PF government actions.

International Day of Prayer for Zimbabwe

We join others to declare 18 April 2007 an international Day of Prayer for Zimbabwe.

The Zimbabwean government is in a vicious war with its law-abiding citizens. All opposition gatherings including prayer meetings have been banned. Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader Morgan Tsvangirai has survived so many attempts to end his life; the latest one was on 11 March 2007.

The intention of the attack of Morgan Tsvangirai on Sunday 11, March was to murder him. A police officer, who refused to be named for security reasons stated, “But what l saw on Sunday was not assault. It was an attempted murder, especially on Tsvangirai… Tsvangirai fainted three times during the murderous assault.” Tsvangirai sustained a crack on the skull.

Why is the prayer day on 18 April? It was 0n 18 April 1521 when the Christian reformer Martin Luther stood firm before the Emperor Charles V saying, “My conscience is captive to the word of God. I cannot and l will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here l stand, l cannot do otherwise. God help me. Amen!” This speech shook the world.

In 1514 Pope Leo X sent out agents to sell certificates of indulgences, which supposedly granted pardon from punishment of sins. Martin Luther challenged the practice of indulgences, corruption and hypocrisy of the Roman Catholic Church.

The Scriptures motivated Luther to renounce the unbiblical authority of Popes and Councils. Luther wrote many books intending to inspire German people to action. He wanted them to take a stand against the corrupt Roman system.

Luther preached justification by faith alone. This was the cry for reformation movement. The reformation faith was unique and become prominent because the reformers emphasised on the doctrine of Scriptures Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone and Christ Alone. It is through Martin Luther and other reformers that we have the Bible in our own languages. In 1534 Luther completed the translation of the New Testament into German and later the whole Bible.

Historically Christian reformers were always at the forefront of the struggle against corruption, tyranny of unbelievers and moral decadence. In the book of Isaiah the prophet started his ministry by denouncing social evils and corruption on the market place.
Biblical tyrants were removed by God’s people and punished for their crimes in accordance with the Word of God.

Zimbabwe is experiencing oppression from wicked rulers because we have sinned against God. We have rejected the wisdom of God in individual, family, Church and State governments. Civil leaders in a country reflect the faith of that nation. Tyranny is a mark to show that a nation has sinned against God. God’s pathway of freedom is from the internal to the external. A nation cannot reject God’s principles in every area of life and at the same time retain political freedom and economic prosperity.

We call upon people all over the World to consider Zimbabwe for fervent prayers on this historic day, 18 April 2007. Pray for repentance of many Zimbabweans and urgent removal of Mugabe’s ZANU PF government. All ZANU PF leaders are evil. Wicked rulers, who are murdering and starving innocent citizens.

South African leaders who are supporting Mugabe are also desperately wicked. I categorically condemn the support being given to ZANU PF especially by president Thabo Mbeki. Before 1994 Mbeki and many other South Africans freely stayed in Zimbabwe. Now the ANC government is not only abusing Zimbabweans refugees in South Africa but also openly supporting Mugabe.

Zimbabweans are not asking for pity of South African political leaders. We well know their hearts. We will lead our own transformation under our God. Simply we condemn those who lend support to Mugabe.

A Zimbabwean View of Tyranny,Pacifism & the Bible

by Collen Makumbirofa

For decades the majority of church leaders have been preaching pacifism. Self – defense is regarded as vengeance. Every war is condemned. Peace is idolized – ‘peace, peace at any price.’ Christian crusades who resisted Islamic invasions have been also condemned. Wars that led us to the freedoms we have are treated lightly. Reformers who led us to obtain liberty and the Bible in our languages are disregarded.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is said to have nothing to do with politics. This is heresy. During His time on earth Christ took an extreme political position. Jesus challenged the existing political and social order when He announced a new government, the Kingdom of God and declaring himself as the Head.

Refusing to worship Caesar was high treason punishable by death. When the Laws of God conflicted with those of Caesar, Christ required His disciples to obey God.

Christ’s Revolution was the greatest of all time; it continues to affect millions of lives centuries after His death. The Holy Roman Empire was turned upside down by Christ's Revolution.

In the Bible God led wars. Many of God’s men were soldiers. Imagine King David, General Joshua, Gideon etc… Pacifism is always wrong. We are not in Heaven yet. Human nature is depraved and at times need to be restrained by force when defending the nation against terrorists and vicious tyrants. Many Christian pacifists want people to live on Earth as if they are already in Heaven: don’t carry a gun, don’t resist robbers, and don’t fight tyranny… But the Bible teaches that the heart of man is desperately wicked. And human nature is bent on doing evil. In His wisdom, God has instituted the government of state (Romans 13), in order to restrain evil by protecting innocent man and punishing the wicked.

There are times when it becomes necessary to resist tyranny by force. I’m talking about using guns to fight terrorists and dictators. In the personal realm when attacked by criminals it is lawful to use necessary force to resist the attack. Pacifists want to substitute action with prayer. There is time for everything. Prayer is the foundation for action. But you can’t just pray when you are suppose to act and protect yourself, your family or your neighbor.

I will never be a pacifist. If a lawful authority (Romans 13) calls me to be a soldier to shoot the terrorist, to arrest the murderers, robbers and rapists, I will be very glad to join and do that to the glory of God.

Not every war or action is right. I know there are those who misuse the Law or twist words. The Bible defines the legitimate use of sword. The American founding fathers, in line with the Bible, considered the American Revolution as a righteous action. According to the pacifist view the American Revolution is wrong because it killed British soldiers. Wait, Roman 13 required the American colonies to obey the British authorities for conscience sake, they say.

In the ancient world, the word tyranny meant ruling without God. Governments are required to rule in terms of God Laws – Romans 13. When government still protects its law-abiding citizens that is good. When it still gives people room for free and fair elections, that is good. In such circumstances there is no room for lesser authorities to take military action against ungodly government that still protects its citizens. What is needed here is to convince the electorate to vote otherwise. The Church’s duty is to preach the Biblical Gospel and educate people about elections (Exodus 18:20) and Biblical view of state governments.

It becomes lawful to take military action when tyranny starts to murder thousands of its innocent people; to deliberately starve its citizens; to torture and murder its opposition leaders; destroy homes of its innocent citizens; destroy business, and so-called informal business, of its law abiding citizens; to rig elections; to ban and destroy independent newspapers; to torture innocent citizens who refuse to support it or who speak against its corruption and oppression.

Those in authority, lower magistrates, or opposition leaders, can take military action against tyranny. Individuals cannot take military action. Those in authority, or those appointed by opposition leaders, must pioneer any military action against tyranny. The same rule applies for assassination of a dictator. Those in authority, or delegated, can plan to remove a wicked ruler.

God is not a pacifist. In the Bible God used His people to overthrow or kill dictators. God doesn’t change, Malachi 3:6. 2 Timothy 3:16, tells us that all Scriptures are inspired and useful for instruction.

Jesus Christ did not come to abolish the Law and prophets. “Do not think I have come to abolish the Law and Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them…” Matthew 5:17

Pacifism is a form of humanism that believes that man is basically good, therefore his life must not be taken in any circumstances. This view is unchristian. God wants murderers, rapists and robbers to be put to death by a lawful authority – by the State. In self-defense one is authorized to take the life of the assailant, if the intent of the attack is murder.

It is disastrous for Christians to be pacifists. This world is at war with God and His people. Christians may choose to be pacifists. But enemies of the Church who are moslems, humanists, and communists will not be pacifists. Even if we desire peace there will always be evil people who want to enslave, attack and oppress others. Therefore military action is needed, either for self-defense, or in war of liberating oppressed people. To say every war, or killing, is wrong is illogical and unbiblical.

Christians must not be afraid of teaching the whole counsel of God for fear of being misunderstood or twisted. Nothing in the Bible is free from being misunderstood or twisted.

Pacifists are preparing nations for slavery. All pacifists are hypocrites. Expecting others to continue suffering under tyranny, without resisting it in an appropriate way, is wrong and hypocrisy.

When all avenues to resist tyranny fail, the last resort is the use of force, military action. This world is full of unrelenting wicked people; man must be read for action. There are times when Tyranny must be resisted by force. Soldiers in war must refrain from attacking civilians, bombing shops and stealing from people. Real soldiers go for the enemy soldiers. Cowards are courageous at killing civilians and destroying property. The wise army does not destroy the people or property it intends to save.

Enemies captured must be treated well and receive the Gospel of Salvation. God watches the conduct of soldiers and will not bless soldiers who abuse their authority. It is appointed for man to die once and face judgment. On the Judgment Day soldiers will be accountable for their behavior.

5 Hated Things

(1) A government that disarms its people.
(2) Appeasing or compromising with tyranny.
(3) The desire for a negotiated peace or compromise of true freedom.
(4) Pacifism and talking when l should be fighting.
(5) Begging another man or country to bring freedom to my own country.

Zimbabwean prominent Church leader, Bishop Mananga Support ZANU PF dictatorship

Bishop Manhanga is a leader of Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe an umbrella body of Zimbabwean Churches. Manhanga is also part of the Ecumenical Peace Initiative. Arch Bishop Pius Ncube said, “Some of the church leaders in the Ecumenical Peace Initiative, in addition to Bishop Kunonga, had been given farms and money by Mugabe to ..."
Below l have quoted words of Bishop Manhanga. You shall know them by their words. At times words betray the heart.

“As the Church, we are for legitimate political authority; we do not subscribe to unconstitutional means to remove legitimate authority…” Bishop Manhanga

According to Bishop Manhanga ZANU PF is a legitimate authority. This is pervasion of reality. Mugabe's ZANU PF came to power through a vicious communist war against Ian Smith, Prime Minister of Rhodesian Front government. In March 2002 ZANU PF rigged presidential elections. Any government that rigs elections is not legitimate. When tyranny like ZANU PF rigs elections they is nothing like constitution when considering removing them. The Zimbabwean constitution does not provide for removal of tyranny. Tyranny knows that it doesn’t have legitimacy therefore will not give you room to remove it through elections. Mugabe is the one violating the Zimbabwean constitution by rigging elections and murdering innocent people. Bishop Manhanga is applying the laws selectively and wrongly to chain the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) from its God given responsibility to remove ZANU PF tyranny.

“We can pride ourselves that we have never failed to hold elections in accordance with our constitution…”
Bishop Manhanga

Zimbabwean elections are characterised by rigging, intimidation of the electorate and state condoned violence. It’s a shock for me to hear Bishop Manhanga saying elections were held in accordance with our constitution. Which elections is Bishop Manhanga talking about? The election results of several constituences were challenged by the MDC in courts and many ZANU PF election victories were reversed or declared null and void due to massive rigging.

Bishop Manhanga does not condemn Mugabe’s ZANU PF for violence. He is just evasive with truth. It must be made clear that ZANU PF is a government of violence. Mugabe publicly declared that some had degrees in Agriculture but he had degrees in violence. And Bishop Manhanga does not condemn this as ungodly and open violation of Romans 13, which gives the state authority to rule.

Bishop Manhanga (just like an Anglican Bishop Kunonga who grabbed a farm) is a fake Bishop who is preparing Zimbabwe for more slavery. Bishops are servants of God and have a Scriptural obligation to feed and protect the sheep. But now Bishop Manhanga is running with the wolf to devour the sheep.

Bishop Manhanga wants Zimbabweans to accept rigged elections, and Mugabe ZANU PF rule. Elections determine whether a leader has consent of the people. Mugabe doesn’t have because he rigs elections, starve, torture and murder political enemies or dissenters. For Bishop Manhanga to tell Zimbabweans to accept Mugabe’s rule is wicked.

Bishop Manhanga affirms that Christians who went to attend the SAVE ZIMBABWE Prayer meeting on 11 March 2007 were violent. It is well known that police went and attack people who were exercising their constitutional right, freedom of association and assembly. Gift Tandare was shot dead by the police. MDC leaders, Morgan Tsvangirai and Arthur Mutambara were arrested and tortured. When these opposition leaders were taken to court there was no charge made, this further proves their innocence.

Mugabe ZANU PF government has tortured tens of thousand of Zimbabweans. Human rights organisations have documented more than 1 million case of human rights abuses by state agencies. Independent Newspapers have been bombed and banned. Independent journalists have been arrested, tortured and some killed. Homes of more than 700 000 MDC supporters have been bulldozed during the June 2005 ‘Operation Murambatsvina’. Churches have been razed to ground. Relief aid to the poor has been banned. Overnight police raided several Churches in Bulawayo and Harare that helped the poor.

There are so many evils that Mugabe ZANU PF is doing. In 1983 ZANU PF committed genocide that exterminated more than 40 000 Ndebele speaking people. In face of all this state wickedness Bishop Manhanga support Mugabe. A true Church leader would not even want to talk to Mugabe or ZANU PF leaders. But Bishop Manhanga even goes for lunch with these wicked rulers.

Bishop Manhanga is a prophet of Mugabe. Zimbabwean Christians need to do much including praying Psalms of Justice against such Church leaders. Manhanga is doing much harm to the Church and nation. It will be good if God remove him soon from the pulpit.

How good would it be if prominent Church leaders like Manhanga were preaching the pure gospel: That Mugabe’s tyranny is a mark to show that Zimbabwe as a nation has sinned against God. These fake Church leaders are so cunning and prepared to go to Hell with the devil. The Bible has made it clear that the beast (wicked state) shall have support of the Church. No wonder Bishop Manhanga supports Mugabe.

Majority of Zimbabwean Church leaders have turned away from speaking truth about the suffering in Zimbabwe. Make the plight of Zimbabweans known in your area. Pray that God raise new Church leaders in Zimbabwe to preach the Gospel of Repentance and Forgiveness of sins.

God lead us not into temptation! God help Zimbabwe. Amen! For more on corruption of the Zimbabwean Church click http://forjustice.atspace.org/mogabe.html , http://forjustice.atspace.org/fake.html

Amnest International Wrong! Right to life of all innocent people must be preserved

In permitting and promoting abortion Amnesty International undermines its credibility. Abortion is murder. ‘Though shall not kill’

Amnesty International (AI) is living in hypocrisy. It seeks to preserve lives of rapists, robbers, and murderers by abolishing death sentence whereas it promote death sentence of innocent unborn babies through abortion.

Amnesty International must not abandon its work of opposing human rights abuses and state atrocities in communist countries such as taking place in Zimbabwe.

Amnesty International (AI) campaigns for abortion and abolition of death penalty are pagan and contrary to the Christian values of love, peace and justice.

Abortion is murder even in cases of rape and incest. Today we have many people born as a result of rape and incest should we deprive them of their lives because of the sins of their fathers? Rape or incest is wrong. The perpetrators must be punished not the victims – unborn children.

Organizations such as AI which are defining the right to life on basis of man’s wisdom are going contrary with Christian values and God’s justice. God’s truth about everything including the unborn children is the way to peace and harmony in this world.

All Christians and the Church must stand firm to preserve life of all the unborn and God’s justice which require death penalty for the wicked, murderers, rapists, and robbers. Christians we need to rise up and challenge any institution or government that exalts itself against the knowledge and of God. 2 Cor 10:5. If Jesus Christ does not exist, there is no basis for human rights. Jesus Christ is the source of all human rights. Ten Commandments are the source of all liberty and freedom.

Respect of the right to life and human dignity are all achievements of true or reformed Christianity. Humanists are hijackers and have nothing to boast of, maybe immorality and tyranny which renaissance brought. The 16th century Christian Reformation brought freedom of conscience, right to life and the concept of mass education.

Before the advent of Christianity the world was dominated by human slavery, child abuse and sacrifice, tyranny, illiteracy, and many human rights abuses. Christian Reformation brought freedom in many areas of life. Constitutional Republics are products of the teachings of Christian Reformers like Martin Luther, John Calvin and John Knox.

Christians we must not be ashamed of truth and our achievements. It’s high time that we stand up and oppose humanistic ideas promoting the culture of death – abortion in whatever circumstances. Satan is a looser. Christ is the victor.

Human life is a gift from God. Those who do not have respect for God have no respect for the unborn children. Children including the unborn are gifts from God, the mother or doctor has no right to kill. Abortion even in cases of rape and incest is murder. It is a glaring pervasion to forbid abortion and allow it in certain circumstances. All those who are supporting abortion are ruled and controlled by Satan.

On the judgment day God shall show no mercy to those who have shown no mercy to the unborn children. Christians and all who love the truth and life need to withdraw financial support to Amnesty International and all other organizations that support murder of unborn children. By financing pro-abortionist we are subsidizing evil.

Second Open Letter to South African President Thabo Mbeki

19 March 2007

Attention: President Thabo Mbeki
Parliament of the Republic of South Africa
PO Box 15, Cape Town
Tel: (021) 403-2911
Fax: (021) 403-3817
president@po.gov.za

Dear His Excellency President Thabo Mbeki

Greetings to you in the special name of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the source of all freedom and truth

Mr. President my challenge to you is motivated by love for the suffering and oppressed Zimbabweans, which you are denying justice and truth.

In 2005, you said that they is no crisis in Zimbabwe and you criticized the United States of America for listing Zimbabwe as an “outpost of tyranny.” Mr. President your hypocrisy is becoming visible for all to see. You should repent from such blatant hypocrisy there is so much suffering in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabweans in Zimbabwe

Mugabe’s ZANU PF government has committed genocide in 1983 and now is committing a second genocide. Independent newspapers have been banned and some bombed. Journalists have been arrested, tortured and some killed. Offices of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) have been bombed. Opposition members of Parliament have been arrested, tortured and some killed. Tens of thousands supporters of MDC , the majority of whom are Christians have been tortured and many murdered by the government. Human rights groups have documented more than 1 million cases of human rights abuses by the State.

In June 2005, Mugabe bulldozed homes of more than 700 000 people. Thousands of productive farms have been invaded and looted by Police, Soldiers, War Veterans and State sponsored militias. Millions of Zimbabweans are starving to death. Currently it is estimated that more than 2000 Zimbabweans are dying every week due to deliberate starvation by the State. Well-crafted genocide is taking place in Zimbabwe.

All Zimbabwean elections have been characterized by rigging and intimidation of the electorate. In 2002, the South African Observer Mission leader, Sam Motsuenyame concluded the 9 –10 march presidential election should be considered legitimate. Tim Boya of the Mission added, “The election in Zimbabwe had passed in the same way if not even better in other African countries.” The leaders of the Observer Mission disregarded violence, murder, abduction of the electorate and torture of the local election observers and massive irregularities.

“A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin,” Proverbs 26:28

The late MDC spokesperson Jongwe said, “All those leaders and individuals who are backing ZANU PF’s murderous agenda must know that they have blood on their hands and that one day, justice will be done,” he concludes.

The Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana declared the 31 March 2005 rigged Parliament (Zimbabwe) elections free and fair. Why are the South African ruling leaders united against Zimbabweans? Denying the oppressed Zimbabweans justice and truth is blatant wickedness.

“The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern” Proverbs 29:7.

Abuse of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in South Africa

Mr. President you claimed that they is no crisis in Zimbabwe. To further prove you wrong more than 2 million Zimbabweans are in South Africa. Every day more than 1000 Zimbabweans are crossing the crocodile infested Limpopo River fleeing both starvation and State terrorism in Zimbabwe. When there is no crisis, such numbers of people do not risk their lives leaving their country.

Your government is denying many Zimbabweans Asylum permits. Recently Home Affairs offices that issue Asylum permits have been closed down in both Johannesburg and Pretoria. Your government refuses to grant refugee status to Zimbabwean Asylum Permit holders.

A few months ago the Pretoria High Court ordered the Home Affairs to grant refugee status to Zimbabwean Asylum Permit holders within 3 months of application. Justice Rabie of the High Court ruled in favour of seven Zimbabwean asylum seekers who took the current Home Affairs procedure to court. “The Court ruled that, “the process was highly inefficient and that the lengthy delays in processing asylum applications hindered refugees from accessing basic rights, such as the right to study and work. The order outlined certain changes, which should be made to improve its methods (the Home Affairs) of handling asylum applications.

An Exiled Zimbabwean lawyer, Gabriel Sumba, pointed out that speedy determination of asylum applications in an efficient and non – discriminatory manner was an integral prerequisite for enjoyment of these rights by refugees. Mr. Shumba called the South African government to deal with the Zimbabwean crisis in an active and constructive manner, as opposed to mass and often indiscriminate deportations of Zimbabweans.

“When the alien lives with you in your land, do not ill treat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native born love him as yourself, for you were aliens… I’m the Lord your God.” Leviticus 19:33

Quite Diplomacy

Mr. President your quiet diplomacy is fake. Your government supports ZANU PF government of President Robert Mugabe.

“Can a corrupt throne be allied with you- one that bring on misery by its decrees?”

Why are you still silent over the Sunday, 11 March 2007 State attack of a prayer meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe? Your government refuses to publicly denounce atrocities taking place in Zimbabwe, yet it loans money to Mugabe’s government and praises his wicked land reform policies. On the other hand your government abuse Zimbabweans seeking political asylum and refugee. Is your heart on suffering Zimbabweans or on the oppressors, Mugabe’s ZANU PF government? Mr. President whom do you seek to deceive? Neutrality is an illusion. If you do not have the intention to follow in the footsteps of your Marxist brothers in Zimbabwe, why are you supporting them?

Mr. President l believe that as a patriotic Zimbabwean have a moral obligation to challenge your double standards and cover up of evil in Zimbabwe. I pronounce woes upon your leadership.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter,” Isaiah 5:20.

Woe to those who make unjust laws, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless…” Isaiah 10:1

Yours for the oppressed Zimbabweans,

A march will be held to protest the flagrant abuse of human rights in Zimbabwe. This protest coincides with the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank Conference being held at the Cape Town Parliament (15th-18th March). TORTURE AND MURDER IN ZIMBABWE AS A PRAYER RALLY IS ATTACKED

On Sunday, 11 March 2007 Mugabe's ZANU PF government attacked people who had gathered for a prayer meeting in Harare. Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader Morgan Tsvangirai was tortured. Credible sources claimed that police had taken turns to lift Tsvangirai and smash him against a wall. Tsvangirai had lost consciousness three times but they continued to assault him.

Gift Tandare, an MDC activist, aged 30, was shot dead at this Sunday prayer rally. Tandare left a wife and three children.

Fake Stories of Zimbabwean politicians Turning to God

"Even top-ranking politicians in the ruling ZANU-PF, veterans of Zimbabwe's liberation war and former Socialists, have turned to God, perhaps gaining new respect as men and women of the cloth."

Vice-President Joseph Msika was recently ordained as a lay pastor in the Anglican church; second Vice-President Joyce Mujuru was promoted to captain in the Salvation Army; two cabinet ministers have applied to train as priests."Even Emmerson Mnangagwa, the powerful former intelligence chief backed by many to succeed President Robert Mugabe despite his repeated poor showing at the ballot box, has announced he was 'born again'."

I think their consciences are troubling them. They have a lot of tension and stress because they have no idea which way the country should be driven," suggested Prof Gordon Chavunduka, a sociologist and labour consultant."It is difficult to escape Zimbabwe's new religious revival. The two songs topping the current music chart are gospel tunes; evangelical preachers are on TV daily; political rallies, and even military parades, are now enlivened with songs of praise." Source: http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com

Collen Makumbirofa of Foundation of Reason & Justice responded:

Thank you for your article about Zimbabwean political leaders turning to God. l'm not aware of any Zimbabwean politician in the ruling government of Mugabe turning to God. They must stop playing with God. Why do they want to deceive people about what Christianity stands for? Christianity stands for our spiritual freedom that will lead us to freedom from dictatorship like that of president Robert Mugabe.

If these Zanu Pf leaders have truly repented they will pay restitution; righting all the wrongs they have committted against people of Zimbabwe. l want to tell these oppressors to stop lying about God or claiming they are receiving Christ as their personal savior. Stop oppressing the people of Zimbabwe, stop denying relief aid to starving Zimbabweans, stop destroying homes of MDC supporters, and relinguish power because you have failed in your responsibility before God to protect people of Zimbabwe. Repent wicked politicians, God is going to destroy you for all the innocent blood - including the genocide of Ndebele people in 1983.

Zimbabwean political leaders have not truly repented. Every day they are starving innocent people, rigging elections, preventing distribution of relief aid to starving Zimbabweans. A genocide is taking place in Zimbabwe. A person who has received Jesus Christ will abondon the privileges of Pharaoh or the privileges of president Robert Mugabe. Please don't be fooled by the disinformation and false testimonies of communists, oppressors and other active enemies of God -Read Psalm 2:

1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.” 4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” 7 “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break[a] them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’” 10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son,[b] lest He[c] be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Mugabe Bribed Three Prominent Churches in Zimbabwe

It’s sad that Satan is working in most Zimbabwean Church leaders to strengthen oppression or to prolong the life of Mugabe ZANU PF a murderous government. Church leaders are being bribed into silence or to support the oppressors - ZANU PF government. The Church is an ambassador of Jesus Christ on earth. In times of crisis, genocides, oppression and suffering such as ours, the Zimbabwean Church must speak the biblical truth about politics, economics and morality, help the poor and oppose the dictatorship of ZANU PF government which is causing unbearable suffering to millions.

The Roman Catholic Bishop Pius Ncube said, “They is so much suffering in Zimbabwe that l cannot be bribed.” Bishop Ncube is doing a great job of opposing the devastation of the poor.

The Vision Document: Zimbabwe we want.

The three Churches, Zimbabwe Catholic Bishop Conference (ZCBC), Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ), and Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) have written a 54-paged document known as: Zimbabwe we want.
After decades of silence in face of political madness, it appeared as if these three Churches are now assuming their responsibility. Before late l realized that something was wrong with ZCBC, EFZ and ZCC. Mugabe is using these three Church bodies to moderate critism from Christians.

On The Way Forward (Chapter 8 of the Zimbabwe We Want), the three Churches never talked about the need for free and fair elections. All emphasis for Zimbabwe We Want was placed or rested in the ZANU PF Government. To say Mugabe is the solution to the crisis, which he has deliberately caused, is to give him legitimacy. The document is flawed. Zimbabwe We Want document is a waste of paper and time. The document is a tool to make money from Western donors who are so much ignorant about what needs to be done in Zimbabwe .
Western donors or Churches are easily duped into supporting immorality or unwieldy programs in Africa .

Mugabe has already rejected the ZCBC, EFZ and ZCC proposition for a new constitution. Taking into account that the opposition MDC has won 2002 presidential elections, it is ironic that the Church leaders claim that the solution lies by appealing or negotiating with Mugabe, Zanu Pf Government.

The Zimbabwe We Want way forward is a far-fetched solution to our problems. The first problem to Zimbabwe is our government that has robbed the nation of its dignity and second is our sins that have separated us from God and one another that we have no love for the poor and our neighbor. Therefore our sins need to be forgiven and ZANU PF needs to be removed from power.

Biblical the Church must not rely on compromise. There are two options for the Zimbabwean Church , pleasing Mugabe or the suffering Zimbabweans who long for justice. No neutral ground. The three Churches want to please both the murderer and Jesus. Mugabe is not blind to the extent that he can allow Bishop Manhanga and his counterparts to win freedom of Zimbabwe through pen and paper (assuming it is what they want). Compromising with Zanu Pf is a waste of time. The ZCC, EFZ and ZCBC must stop playing with the oppressed people of Zimbabwe .

It’s becoming clear that most elements in the EFZ, ZCC and ZCBC support or sympathize with Mugabe Zanu Pf than with their suffering Brothers and Sisters. The partner Church in Zimbabwe We Want, ZCC is already gone, its members have been enriched with stolen farms and tax funds from the poor.

I’m sure Bishop Manhanga of Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) preaches that light and darkness should not be equal yoked. If he is fairly honest what Zimbabwe We Want can be realize with the corrupted ZCC. ZCC leaders have not only benefited from stolen farms but openly support ZANU PF oppressors. Zimbabweans do not trust pro-state Churches not matter how loud they may shout about their credibility.

Paragraph 2 under the Way Forward states, we should dialogue with Mugabe.” We patriotic Zimbabweans have no time to talk to Mugabe. Mugabe and his Zanu Pf government must go out of power. Apart from having committed a genocide, destroying homes of hundred of thousands, bulldozing Churches, starving dissenters Mugabe is arrogant and unrepentant. It was better if the three Churches have suggested that Zimbabweans talk to the MDC President, Morgan Tsvangirai. Why is it that ZCC, EFZ, ZCBC are quick to talk of reconciliation with enemies of God than God’s justice which require the new government to punish perpetrators of 1983 genocide and all political crimes that have gone unpunished. Patriotic Zimbabweans cannot unite and talk with villains.

The Church must not be selective and one sided in applying the laws of God to our situation. Our attitudes towards the unchanging laws of God determine whether we will get true freedom or not. The new government in accordance with the laws of God (which requires capital punishment for capital offenses) is required to deal with members of ZANU PF who have committed crimes. The Church must not confuse or pretend not to understand the well-clarified moral laws of God.

Paragraph 3 states that, “it is important that all stakeholders recognize that the ongoing land redistribution process is irreversible and interested parties should buy into the process.” On what basis? Are these three Churches still a credible voice from God? There are farms that have been robbed from their rightful owners. Many White farmers have bought the land from the Zanu Pf government and were issued State Certificates of No Interest. ZCC, EFZ and ZCBC is now telling Zimbabweans that such land should not be returned to the previous owners. The three Churches must not brain wash people on Marxist lines. The Church must not be envious and covetous but should proclaim God’s justice not its humanistic standards of righting wrongs.
Most farms have been given to soldiers, pro-Mugabe clergy, and politicians. The new government must take such land away. Any Church or Institution or voice that tells us that such land should not be returned to the owners is not from God.

A political commentator at the University of Zimbabwe , John Makumbe said, “we must not forget that the pro-state Church leaders (ZCC, EFZ and ZCBC) are essentially implementing Mugabe’s initiative following his four hour launch with them at State house a few months ago…” The Bishops launch with Mugabe while innocent people are being butchered, silenced and starved by his soldiers and militias.

John Makumbe further said, “The fact that the pro-State Church leaders openly reject regime change as constituting part of the expected national vision clearly places them at variance with majority of Zimbabweans. Without regime change every national vision is a nightmare…”

Washington Katema writing to the weekly ZINASU Vanguard states, “in this regard l humbly dismiss the pro-ZANU PF National vision document basing on simple facts... In case the Zimbabwe Council of Churches, Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe and Catholic Bishop Conference have failed as there are now being used as cannon fodder by Mugabe.” In the Church initiative Mugabe is buying time.

On page 13 of Zimbabwe We Want ZCBC, EFZ, and ZCC accept that they have started the path of engagement with the government. ZANU PF government is a criminal enterprise. It’s bizarre that these three Churches choose negotiation with an illegitimate government that is guilty of theft and committing atrocities. In its attempt to control every area of life ZANU PF government is committing high treason against God. It’s due to cowardice that the Church chose to engage with villains who have ravaged such a beautiful country as Zimbabwe .

Zimbabwean Churches Need to Repent from Hypocrisy

The Zimbabwean Church should openly tell Mugabe that he is the villain. The Church should Pray Psalms of justice that God either save ZANU PF leaders or destroy them. Talking to Mugabe or ZANU PF members will not help salvage anything. Zimbabwe is in shambles. Three thousand people are dying every week. The ZANU PF government is not relenting in corruption and is manipulating relief aid. Churches should talk of empowering opposition politicians to remove Mugabe by whatever peaceful means possible. We need a biblical view of dealing with tyrants. In the bible God permitted the slaughter of tyrants. Historical tyrants were removed by Christian reformers and punished for their crimes. The Church compromise and tyrant never compromise. It is foolish, deception and waste of time for the Zimbabwean Church to compromise.

Its rhetoric that the ZCC, ZCBC and EFZ accept Marxist violence that overthrew the colonial government of Ian Smith. Now oppose removing Mugabe and his ZANU PF government as way forward. Zimbabweans must not get tired we need a decisive action to remove our tyrant. Our Churches must repent from such blatant hypocrisy.

Arthur Molife a Zimbabwean Christian activist said, “lets hope that now Christians will devote their time and energy towards the ending of the vile Mugabe regime…”

Chairperson of the Africa Minister’s Association, Reverend Alfred Modise, said Zimbabweans should fight and uproot a dictator.

A prominent Lawyer, Gabriel Shumba said a silent genocide is taking place in Zimbabwe and there was need for the Church and Zimbabwean community to join hands and fight the culprit.

My fellow Zimbabwean lets not waste time talking, mourning before people or international bodies that are not concerned about our plight. Let’s unite, support and work with our opposition leaders to remove our tyrant. Fear and pursuit of pleasures are temporary sacrifices done for our country will live forever.

I love Zimbabwe and its people. May God give us wisdom, love and strength to bring desired change in Zimbabwe .

Zimbabwe Under God's Judgement

Books, reports and articles have been written; speeches have been made about the current crisis in Zimbabwe. But very few people have managed to get to the heart of the matter or root causes of the present dilemma. And it goes not without saying that there is no solution until we come to realize the root causes of our political and social crisis. The problem is that we have sinned against God as a nation. We have forsaken God’s moral laws in the bible.
“But if any nation does not listen, l will completely uproot and destroy it” declares the Lord, Jeremiah 12:17.

Humanism

This is a religion, which all those opposed to Christianity embrace. Buddhism, Marxism, Islam etc. fall under this context. In humanism the mind is regarded as the final authority to determine what is right and wrong, good and evil. The ethics of a humanist are autonomous and situational. This was the first and basic sin of Adam and Eve an attempt to be their own god – determining what is right and wrong on their own or their minds attempting to be the source of right and wrong.

In Zimbabwe most of us are humanist and even Christians have become typical humanist. We deny that God’s moral law is our final authority. This is detestable to God who created man for the purpose of glorifying Him. Humanism gives glory to Satan. Humanism has a doctrine of incarnation – the incarnate god being the modern State, which is worshipped through embracing socialism.

“Although our sins testify against us ‘O’ Lord do something for the sake of your name. For our backsliding is great we have sinned against you”, Jeremiah 14:17.

We are experiencing oppression from civil leaders because we have rebelled against God’s wisdom in many ways. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. When a people rebel against God they forsake His principles in relation to trade, worship, social justice, democracy, elections, education and responsibilities to one’s neighbor.

Biblical and historical evidence proves that God judges rebellious people. This is true and must be accepted by everyone, that God judges nations by handing them over to cruel masters and fierce Kings, Isaiah 19:4. The Israelites went under oppression of King Pharaoh because of their evil deeds. In Ezekiel 39:28, God declared that He handed over the Israelites to captivity for their sins. When a people rebel against God as in the above accounts, they give glory to the devil therefore God will chasten them by permitting evil into their lives. God is jealousy of His own glory.

God used Judah to bring terror to rebellious Egyptians, Isaiah 19:17. In Isaiah 42:24, who handed Jacob over to become a loot, and Israel to the plunders? Was it not the Lord whom they have sinned against? For they did not follow His ways, they did not obey His laws. “Any nation that does not listen l will uproot and destroy it, declares the Lord in Jeremiah 12: 17. Jeremiah 14:12, further clarify, “l will destroy them with swords, famine and plague.” In Judges 3:8, “the anger of the Lord burned against Israel so that He sold them into the hands of Cushan – Rishatham King of Aron Naharain to whom Israelites were subject for eight years,” Jeremiah 17:4, Judges 32:12-14, 4:1-2; 6:1; 10:6; Amos 2:4.

In Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8 we are told that God does not change. If He was praised for judging Israel and other stubborn nations will He not judge Zimbabwe in the same manner? Does our immorality and stubborn rebellion not attract God’s awesome Judgment? What is the relation between starvation, and oppression in Zimbabwe with God? Nothing happens in this world without God’s permission. Biblical God brings stubborn and arrogant people into submission.

The modern rebellious man (the humanist) denies that God can judge sinful people. This denial is based on the assumption that man is basically good and is a victim of circumstances. This is a lie, we have failed God in so many ways 1 John 1:8 says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and truth is not in us.” And if we hide our sins we will not be forgiven.

Churches failed

Majority of Churches in Zimbabwe have failed to speak the truth on many life issues. Christianity was limited to spiritual realm and four corners of the Church building. The Church failed dismally to preach the fully counsel of God. The Gospel became too shallow and watered down by human wisdom, 1 Corinthians 2:4. Jesus Christ has commanded Churches to make disciples (Mathew 28:19) but every day we see Churches producing fake converts, people who never felt conviction of sin. Biblical repentance involves conviction, contrition and conversion.

In relation to politics most part of the Church denied that Jesus Christ has nothing to do with politics, which is blasphemy. To them politics means criticizing immorality in State, supporting better opposition leaders and applying God’s law to political and social issues. On contrary most of these Churchman are seen to be voting for the communist Zanu Pf, or putting on clothes with Mugabe’s face or Zanu Pf name.

Truly Christians who denied that Jesus Christ has nothing to do with politics have betrayed Zimbabwe into hands of political prostitutes. Satan has gained so much influence in our politics because we did not shine the light of God’s word.

The Poor and Oppressed ignored

Many Christians continued to vote for Mugabe’s Zanu pf party that murdered missionaries and pastors during the 1970s. As if that is not enough Christians ignored the 1983 genocide in which almost 40 000 Ndebele speaking people were massacred. Many people think that to talk about the 1983 massacre of Ndebele people is uncovering old wounds. Let me say, in the first place such wounds were never covered. We need to continue putting salt on them. Justice must be done – punishing the perpetrators (in accordance with God’s laws) most of them who are in the State now. Christians must always commemorate this cold blood massacre of innocent.
Today Zimbabwean Christians outside the country are silent about the genocide currently taking place. This time Zanu Pf is skilled at killing innocent people through prisons, and starvation. Zanu Pf leaders have no right to deny people relief aid. More than 1000 people are reported to be dying every two weeks through starvation and due to lack of medical attention. This skilled genocide according to many Christians, AU and UN is not genocide.

Abuse of Grace

The Church preaches that we are under Grace and no longer obliged to obey God’s moral laws. This is senseless. This betrays our ignorance of what the law of God means. Whenever God give a moral command it is His moral law. Christians deny that we are under God’s moral laws in the Old Testament at the same time accept the validity of Ten Commandments. (I’m not talking about ceremonial laws, which have their fulfillment in Jesus Christ). Ten Commandments are a summary of God’s law.

Titus defines sin as breaking the law. Therefore logic should tell us that the Apostle Paul was not saying we are saved to break the law of God. In Romans 8:4, Paul clearly shows that God’s law in New and Old Testament is righteous and we should keep it.

Public Responsibility Neglected

When it comes to public issues there is no neutrality but it need all people to join hands and challenge the social injustices in terms of God’s justice. It is the immature who do not realize the impact of neglecting. Tyranny engulfs the whole nation bit by bit. Tyranny is a mark to show that people have rejected the wisdom of Jesus Christ thereby neglecting their duties and responsibilities to others.

It is the immature who deserve more controls and those with a slave mentality are easily enslaved. In Zimbabwe few were calling for God’s justice to be applied to all areas of life. Our problem is indifference, selfishness and insensitivity to the needs of the poor and oppressed. Many humanists lack commitment except to themselves. They fail to realize that injustices committed to others despite number affect the whole nation. For instances Zimbabwe ignored the poor, prisoners, oppressed minorities and the weak now God has handed the whole nation to the oppressive hand of Mugabe’s Zanu Pf.

Christians lack care of others and cannot take courage to challenge the oppressors and risk to free the oppressed. The priority is to advance their lifestyles even at the expense of others. If we are seeking the best for others we will not deny that Christ’s wisdom apply to all areas of life. We often forget that that the idea of responsibility and authority was before the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden. Simple sin has encroached into the family, State and Church. All those who deny the application of Christianity to political problems and social issues are failing to take into account the government of King Saul, King David, and Solomon. Nor offer explanation for Christians like Daniel, Joseph, Nehemiah, who became civil rulers.

Selfishness and indifference has lead us to Mugabe’s Tsunami. Mugabe is a punishment from God to us. The solution is that you and me repent from our sins and submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Without biblical repentance, revival and reformation in majority of Zimbabweans, Mugabe or his oppressive Zanu Pf will not go or we will get a revolution that destroys the people it intends to save. Without bringing our ideas and action into line with the word of God massive oppression by civil rulers will not leave Zimbabwe. Some are fooled to think that if Mugabe dies all things will become normal that is not true. The whole Zanu Pf State is oppressing people. Zimbabwe is in hands of God we need to understand the causes of our problems and act accordingly.

The solution to our nation’s turmoil is repentance, imprecatory Psalms of justice, decisive action, spiritual revival and reformation.

Message to Western Christians

Surely can we pray and our prayers be answered while we are indifferent and wilful ignorant to the plight of our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe? Freedom and relief of the African people depend so much with the help of people in the Western world. But majority of our Brothers and Sisters in the Western world are the least to respond to our plight. Some have tried to tell me that Zimbabweans have sinned implying that there are not interested. Let me say even in America or Europe there is sin. The reason why God has judged Zimbabwe more than other nations is within His secret throne house. Its wrong to always believe that if someone is suffering physical has sinned more than we all have done.

Christianity is not for comfort. Christianity is not a guarantee for easy, peace, security and prosperity. To be called to Christianity is the same as joining a war. But our war is a spiritual warfare. When I’ become a Christian l encountered problems and temptations l have never before. Satan and his demons are waging a serious war against people of God.

Our next issue will be dealing with how to resist tyranny. Is war against tyranny by legitimate authority lawful? What did great reformers like John Calvin, John Knox say about using force to resist tyranny? Does Zimbabwe need a revolution or not? Can a Christian pioneer a revolution that is meant to overthrow tyranny by use of force. What makes a revolution fail? I’m afraid this forthcoming article will not suit many Christian pacifists. Please if you are not subscribed to us send us your email address or postal address or fax.

Pray for the suffering Zimbabwean refugees in South Africa and Botswana. Pray for the sick and prisoners in Zimbabwe. Pray for the starving in Zimbabwe. Please continue to pray for us and that change may come to Zimbabwe soon.

An Ideal Government for a Christian

As a vocal Christian l was confronted by many questions appertain to State governments. Which government do you support? Should Christians or Bishops and Pastors be involved in politics. Is it the Mugabe ZANU PF or the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) you support?

The Bible says be read to give the answer for the reason of the hope that is in you, 1 Peter 3:15. My answer was that I do not support ZANU PF government, that is inconsistence with Christian faith. ZANU PF President, Robert Mugabe is neither a Christian nor ruling Zimbabwe with justice. We need Christian minds not only Christian hearts. Our Lord Jesus Christ does not want us to support a government that deliberately starve and kill innocent people. ZANU PF is a criminal enterprise that is guilt of committing theft and atrocities.

As a Christian my ideal government is not the Movement for Democratic Change, but a Christian civil government that does not practice socialism. Biblical a State government was meant to be a ministry of justice alone. Controlling of education, health, businesses, sport etc is usurpation of responsibilities entrusted to it by our Lord Jesus Christ. Most of the time non-Christian governments are cowards and lack a standard to deal decisively with tyrants. A government was ordained by God (Romans 13), to be a ministry of justice for punishment of evildoers and protection of innocent in accordance with God’s moral laws in the bible. The state must rule the country in accordance with civil laws in the bible.

In my country there is no Christian government what can l do? Its election time should l go and vote? These are some of the questions that confronted me as a new Christian. Christians have no choice to live without a civil government. For that reason our Lord Jesus Christ would need us to support better opposition governments or political leaders. Christians have no choice between voting and not voting. We need to vote. It’s a sin and sign of great immaturity for a Christian to refuse to go and vote for better leaders.

In our calling to turn this world upside down for Christ we need to go and vote for better civil leaders. Tomorrow we fire them if they fail to deliver what they promised and put other better leaders. Hire and fire political leaders. Christians need to do this until we get ideal Christian leaders. That is how we are going to conquer modern politics for our Lord.

It’s wrong for Christians to praise or to go and vote for political leaders who support abortion, homosexuality and pornography. We need to support better leaders who do not support these evils. People should do away with the mentality that this government have brought us independence or freedom therefore we must support it continuously. If a government starts to permit or support evils like abortion, homosexual marriages remove it as a matter of urgency. We must not wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ to tells us that a government is becoming tyrant. Those who allow their government to become tyrant will pay heavily for it by loose of liberty. God is not mocked.

Many Christians who claim neutrality in politics support governments that commit atrocities, governments that condone pornography, governments that pass laws, which permit abortion and homosexuality. Are these Christians still working for Jesus Christ or Satan? Dr. Rev. Derek Carlsen said," those who are not whole hearted towards Christ are whole hearted towards Satan. "But if anyone reject me publicly, l will reject him before my father in Heaven," Matthew 10:33. Jesus is not only denied by merely saying l don't want Him. Rejecting Christ's principles of marriage and politics means denying Him.

Socialism is not a Christian principle. The idea that the State should control education, health, and economy comes from Hell. Christians need to use every opportunity to teach people that socialism is ungodly and bring glory to satan.
Neutrality is impossible our Lord Jesus make this clear in the parable of a Good Samaritan (Luke 25:37), that neutrality is impossible. We may choose not to go through where the victim is but the Lord who weighs the heart knows it. "Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me," Psalms 51:10. Politics is a domain for our Lord Jesus Christ. King David, King Saul, Governors Daniel, Joseph, and Nehemiah were all in politics - serving Jesus Christ.

The commandment and need that we bear fruits in politics is compelling and immidiate. Mordern Politics is the area that Satan is dominating so much. Humanistic governments are onto death war with our Lord Jesus Christ and His followers. Non-Christian governments are major enemies of God because they have vast amounts of money, power and great influence to oppose the purposes of God. Just imagine the atrocities and persecutions of Mugabe's government in Zimbabwe, imagine the atrocities and slavery of the Islamic Front government in Sudan. Individuals can oppose the Lord Jesus Christ but they don't have much influence and impact like state governments.

"Why do nations plan rebellion? Why do people make their useless plots? Their Kings revolt, their rulers plot together against the King He choose." Psalms 2:1-2.

Christians we are not going to conqure unless we apply the Lordship of Christ to all areas of life especially politics. Chrisitans must not be afraid of getting into poitics, campaigning for those political positions. Putting bills and passing laws that are in line with moral laws of God in the bible.

My respond Dr. Mlambo''s " SATANIC VERSES"

Dear Friend

Greetings to you in the special name our Lord Jesus Christ.

l respond to the letter by Dr. Norman Mlambo. Dr. for your own knowledge Samorah Machel was a communist dictator who worked very hard to destroy the Church in Mozambique. Samorah in his war against Chrisitanity destroyed Churches and killed Christians. Four thousand and seven hundred Churches were confiscated, closed or destroyed. The bible was banned. Christians and pastors were imprisoned or send to re-education camps.

Are you denying that these things have happened in Mozambique? Those who love the truth and care to look know that Samorah Machel was a dictator who caused unbearable suffering to the innocent people of Mozambique.

Dr. Pan African Intellectualism will not save you. Only Jesus Christ can save you from sins and judgement of God which is coming upon this world. Pan Africanism, communism and humanism are not the solution to our societies. Our societies belong to God. For that reason must be governed in a way that God has ordained - the state being a ministry of Justice (servant state), free enterprise, non-racialism, respect of human rights etc.
Dr. you need to repent and follow Jesus Christ as your personal savior. Man made politics, and worshipping of political leaders does not save you. In Africa there is no government which is Godly- that is one thing you need to bear in mind.
"The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the lord and against His Anointed One," Psalms 2:2.
The bible says only the truth shall set us free, John 8:32.

For the seek of the truth His Excellence President Thabo Mbeki supported president Robert Mugabe. Before the March 2005 elections. President Mbeki made positive remarks about Zimbabwean elections. The government team send to Zimbabwe declared elections to be free and fair contrary to facts and comments by the major opposition, Movement for Democratic Change, and many civil society organisations.
Moralising a illigitimate state -Is it not an insult to the Zimbabweans who are suffering under leadership they do not want?

It is open to the world that since 2000, the government in Zimbabwe was rigging elections. The positive remarks and quite diplomacy of South African politicians over Zimbabwe has lead to the present disaster which is claiming thousands of lives every week in Zimbabwe.

Do you think God is happy about all this? Dr. we need the truth in our lives. Let us focus on God and truth in politics. If we are to develop Africa we need to speak the truth and discard worshipping of politicians. It is only Jesus who is perfect not humanistic politicians. Jesus Christ our hero. Jesus Christ the lord of states.

It is my prayer that God enable you to turn to Him and seek the truth for the rest of your life.

For Faith & Freedom
